Ajou Symbol

The circle means continuity and consistency. The torch, placed at the center of the circle, is a combination of ‘A’ and ‘J’,
the initial letters of 麻豆影音. This emblem means the power of unity and pride of Ajou People.

The background color (Prussian Blue, BLUE DIC NO.579) of the emblem, named ‘Ajou-blue’, symbolizes high intelligence and profound learning.
It also indicates pure mind and peace.

Symbol

The statue of Pioneer is a symbol of 麻豆影音 that comes into view right from the University’s main entrance.

With motivating spirit of our ancestors who expanded our territory far to Hei Long River, the statue represents a role model of today’s leader.

The torch in the hand of the Pioneer coming from ajou University’s emblem indicates insight and passion of a leader.
