Notice Regarding Course Registration for Fall 2025 (Graduate School)
Dear Students, This is Office of Graduate School. We would like to inform you of an important matter regarding course registration for the Fall 2025 semester. During a system test conducted in preparation for the regular course registration period, the course registration menu was unintentionally made accessible. As a result, some students were able to register for courses earlier than the official schedule. To ensure fairness for all students, we have taken the following actions: The official course registration period for the Graduate School is from Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 09:00 to Monday, August 11, 2025 at 18:00, as previously announced on the university website and academic calendar. All course registrations submitted on Monday, August 4, 2025 have been deleted. Please make sure to register again during the official registration period noted above. We sincerely apologize for the confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. Kindly double-check the schedule to ensure proper registration. Thank you for your attention. How to make student ID & apply for student ID card (1) Student ID New students in Ajou : Please refer to “How to make student ID & apply for student ID card.pdf” for application of your student(=portal) ID. ※ Birthdate should be entered with YY/MM/DD type. (Ex. 1991-08-13 -> 910813) New Students who were a student in Ajou : Go to our website https://portal.ajou.ac.kr/ –> Login by using portal ID and Password –> Please check the Student ID No. of graduate school as a representative authority (대표신분 설정) from the Tab under your name (2) Student ID card (physical IDs) - 1st: Portal ID made by Aug 4th >> Can apply the card in Aug 6th~12th - 2nd: Portal ID made by Sep 3rd >> Can apply the card in Sep 5th~11th * Student ID can be applied any time starting from Aug 4th before the semester, however the student card cannot be applied but the 1st and 2nd period noted above. ※ Mobile Student ID Card (Digital IDs) : It is an electronic version of physical IDs - Please download‘아주대학교 통합 모바일' from Google PlayStore orAppStore and log in with your ID. - It will only be possible to use the mobile ID card after you have made Ajou Portal ID and Agreement of personal information **Please DO NOT FORGET your portal ID and password!! 3. Application for Korean Language Class for Foreign Students for Fall semester 2025 1. Application for classes a. Lecture offered A course of Study Class Title Professor in charge Credit /Hour Class Time (Lecture room) Remark Common Korean Language Beginning Gun-Hee, Lee 0/3 Tue 18:00 ~ 21:00 (Dasan Hall #B115) The language used in the class is Korean b. Period of application and Procedure : Aug 5th (Tue) 9:00 ~ Aug 11th (Mon) 18:00, 2025 (※ Application for classes is not allowed in the period of changing classes) 2. Qualification for class taking : Enrolled students and students completed with required courses - Students who have learned Korean for more than 3 months or have TOPIK scores should not apply. - Only students who can participate in face-to-face class for 15 weeks should apply. 3. Lecture costs : Free 4. Grade Assessment : PASS & FAIL (0 credit) 5. Note on application - Foreigners who are not English native speakers will select either English or Korean when taking Foreign Language test in English that conducted in School to meet the requirements for submitting dissertation. - Students who take a Korean Language class offered in school and get a PASS grade will be exempted Korean Language Test. It means that students meet the requirements for submitting thesis. - The grade of Korean Language Beginning will be reflected in GPA in applicable semester.
Application for English Language Classes, Fall 2025
Application for English Language Class for Foreign Students For Fall semester, 2025 Students who take English language courses offered or submit English proficiency test score like TOEFL, TOEIC, etc, will be recognized as someone who satisfies qualification requirements for submitting dissertation(thesis). We inform you of the application for English Language Classes for foreign students for Fall semester in 2025 as below. 1. Application for classes a. Lecture offered A course of study Class Title Professor in charge Credit /Hour Class Time (Lecture room) Common English Jung-sik, Park 0/3 On-line Lecture (Exam: Mon 18:00 ~ 21:00 Dasan Hall 507) b. Period of Application : Aug 5th (Tue) 9:00 ~ Aug 11th (Mon) 18:00, 2025 (※ Application for classes is not allowed in the period of changing classes) c. Course Registration Procedure : Login AIMS Portal website → 학사서비스 (Academic Information for Graduate school) → 교과수업 (Class Info.) on the upper side→ 수강신청 (Course Registration) on the left side → Check the courses 공통/영어(Common/English) →저장(Save) ※ Students who completed with required courses can’t apply in AIMS portal website. So they have to apply for English classes by visiting Department office or office of graduate school. 2. Qualification for class taking : Enrolled students and students completed with required courses (excluding students on leave and enrolled students in Dept. of Pharmacy) (Students in Dept. of Pharmacy who entered after Fall semester in 2012 can’t apply for Alternative courses foreign language test) 3. Grade assessment : PASS & FAIL (0 credit) ※ The grade of Alternative courses for foreign language test will not reflected in GPA in applicable semester because the grade of alternative courses is only for requirements for submitting thesis. 4. Payment of Tuition Fee a. Lecture Costs : 120,000 KRW per each semester b. Period of Payment: Aug 5th (Tue) 9:00 ~ Aug 11th (Mon) 18:00, 2025 (Same with Period of Application) c. Account Number for payment : KB Bank 808490-29-000378 (아주대학교 일반대학원) 5. Notes - Transfer the money with student’s own name in the period of application for classes - If students do not pay tuition fee in designated period, application for classes will be cancelled automatically. - Cancellation of application for classes : Students who want to delete the class from the list have to submit the Form of cancellation of classes to office of Graduate school in the period of changing classes. (Sep 1st (Mon) ~ Sep 5th(Fri), 2025). Only in that case, students receive a full refund. After the period of changing classes, we do not allow the cancellation and full refund of classes.
